On Saturday 26th June Sunseed and the Agave Eco School are organizing an Open Day to show their projects to visitors. It will be a fun day filled with various events, activities and tours.
The Open Day will take place nearby Sorbas in the village of Los Molinos de Rio Aguas. The activities, most free, will start at 10.00am and will run throughout the day until late.
The workshops and activities for adults and children will be: practical workshops “How to live greener in your apartment” about how to make your own herb garden, how to use grey water at home and how to turn kitchen waste into compost.
Also there will be regular guided tours through the project, a workshop with Agave (Pita) wood, a bike repair workshop, an Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony, a fun game about sustainability, movies and finishing with an Open Music Jam Session in the evening.
Everyone is welcome to join us for a delicious, home cooked vegan lunch for only 5€.
People who come to the Open Day by bicycle will have a 50% discount on lunch as a way to promote environmental awareness.
Throughout the day there will be a market of local, ecological and handmade products and also stands of local enviromental NGOs.
