Join our community!
We offer a range of different options to become a part of our project. From anywhere between a day visit, staying 2 weeks and 2+ years!
Co-learning residency program
Join our community as a short-term member to experience off-grid living and non-formal education on sustainability
As a co-learning resident in Sunseed you will become part of our community for a short-term period. You will have the chance to explore all of our eight different departments.
You can learn through hands-on work, experimentation and creative activities about our daily tasks and long term projects. If you want, you can always develop your own little personal project.

You are free to choose from a variety of different daily tasks to work on. Every week we write down and share these tasks with you. We are here to help you, but our general work ethic is based on self-organisation and pro-activity.

Internships
Gain valuable practical experience
Internships at Sunseed are a great opportunity to gain some hands-on experience within different areas of sustainability. This ranges from agro-ecology, communication, ecosystem restoration, environmental education, sustainable living skills or appropriate technology. We provide the space and support for self-driven education.
Our internships fall into two categories, General and Research internships. Below you can find more information about them!

As an intern you are free to develop your own research project alongside the daily departmental tasks. You will receive a supervisor and a personal mentor to guide you through this process. In general, an internship at Sunseed is for you to explore and turn your theoretical research into hands-on practice.
European Solidarity Corps
An experience for life
The ESC programme is a great chance for young people to experience living in a community project whilst learning and contributing to a better world, with support from the EU-funded European Solidarity Corps programme.
Our 6-month longterm ESC at Sunseed is experiential, participatory, playful, cross-disciplinary, and reflective. We tailor your ESC experience to your individual learning goals, while being part of a bigger community project.

This is a great opportunity to take part in meaningful work and experiential learning while your food, accommodation, travel costs, pocket money, insurance and mentorship are covered.
