What is the Transition all about?
In October 2021, the Trustees of the Sunseed Association (who are legally responsible for the project) came to Sunseed for a three day sociocratic meeting in which everybody living in Sunseed was welcome to participate. We gathered in our Dome to re-envision Sunseed together. We decided that since we are in the process of closing down the UK charity (with its trustee structure), we would like to distribute the legal responsibilities of Sunseed to 3 long-term project managers who will live here. Furthermore, we decided that our four houses needed infrastructural updates to make them cosy homes again. For this reason, we were semi-closed for the first part of 2022.
However, this 'transition phase' is now coming to an end. We are glad to say that we are fully open again to volunteers and staff applications!
